The Osprey compatible modular system has been designed with extensive input from serving soldiers. The Main bandolieer has been designed to provide the carrier with maximum magazine carrying capability whilst keeping profile down to a minimum to aid the wearer to take a more comfortable and lower prone firing position, fit through smaller gaps, easier access to and from vehicles. The bandolieer incorporates a number of key features highlighted from soldiers having served on tours. 6 SA80 a2 magazines can be carried as standard, quick release tabs on all magazine slots ensure the magazines can be accessed quickly and easily whilst in a secure fashion, additional magazines can be carried with the use of the single, double or triple slim line mag pouches. A heavy weight rear strap keeps the Osprey body Armour from coming open when on the move, as many soldiers have expressed this as a problem when conventional mag pouches are fitted to the front. Slots on each side of the bandolieer allow the wearer to hold maps or the smaller CBA ballistic plates, ideal for when the wearer is providing top cover from vehicles. Molle strapping along the whole bandolieer allows a wide veriaty of additional pouches to be mounted i.e. Large utility pouches at either side for carrying water bottles or med kits, extra ammo etc. Smoke, Frag Grenade pouches, 40mm UGL pouches, Double pistol mag pouches to name a few.
